| Flash Programmer Calian is building a Courseware Animation Development team to modernize army courseware for in-classroom instruction, as well as distance-learning programs. As a Flash Programmer on this project, you will create illustrations, treat photos and create simple to complex animations from story boards. You will interact frequently with the instructional design team to recommend design, usability and Graphic User Interface (GUI) improvements. As part of this team your role will be to: •Review, analyze and make recommendations on programming issues or project documentation. •Develop advanced project components such as: o A User Interface in accordance with the Style Guide; o Pseudo-code and metadata templates; o Advanced JavaScript course elements; o SCO and Asset Metadata documents o SCORM conformance and usability testing; o A Maintenance Guide that provides information relevant to modifying and maintaining the end products; •Program eLearning product elements in accordance with Instructional Design standards including: o Interactive elements o Multi-Media elements o Assessment instruments – Sharable Center Objects •Design and develop data structure •Provide technical guidance •Implementing Quality Assurance and test plans Mandatory Qualifications: •3 years of experience in programming web-based applications using Java, C-based languages or scripting languages. •Demonstrate an ability to translate written descriptions into working interactive assets. •Ability to review work and identify errors (design, text and functionality) early in the development phase •Develop a minimum of 2 computer based or web based training courses •Completion of post secondary education in any field. | |
