| Multimedia Developer Calian is building a team for a customer at DND who requires a team of 16 Multimedia Developers with previous experience to work in the area of courseware development. Consultants will work with a Courseware Development Project Manager, Instructional Designers, other Developers, and ALSC staff, providing professional knowledge and advice in developing course material. The prime duties will include creating dynamic and interactive flash content, developing assets for courseware packages and maintaining and organizing existing courseware assets. Job Description: The duties include, but are not limited to: -produce eLearning products and interactive multimedia training aids using graphics, 3D, animation, photography, audio and video. -conduct programming in Actionscript 3 -conduct the development of custom interfaces and applications -optimization of image, text, audio and video -conduct testing of asset and course functionality -act as Project Lead Developer on assigned projects -prepare asset thumbnails, file management and upload/backup content to repository Deliverables: -Courseware Developer functions -eLearning and Multimedia assets -briefing materials and presentations -monthly reports Mandatory Qualifications: -Must have a College Diploma or University Degree (in any field) -Must have at least 3 years of experience using ActionScript 2 or 3. -Must have 3 years experience in programming web-based applications using Java, C-based language or a scripting language, as well as, database and/or file structured back-ends. -Must have developed and packaged at least 2 web-based or computer-based training courses within the last 3 years. -Must have previous experience working with Multimedia Asset such as: audio, video or still images on at least 2 eLearning products. | |
